The Academic Forum is a team meeting designed to provide an opportunity for the entire team to discuss cases of interest; and provide presentations, trauma scenarios and journal reviews.
The Academic Forum is attended by team members from the medical school (academic staff and students), London's Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service.
For a summary of our previous Academic Forums please check our archive page.
We also organise a yearly PCP conference. To find out details and read about previous conferences click here.

Can I come?
Although talks are primarily aimed at people involved in the Prehospital Care Programme, the forums are open meetings, and other interested parties are welcome. The Academic Forum is a good opportunity for people considering becoming involved in the PCP to get a further understanding of our operations, and to meet the team.
The Academic Forum Programme for the forthcoming meeting is e-mailed to all contacts approximately a week in advance. If you wish to be added to this list, or wish to present at an Academic Forum meeting, then please e-mail us via the contact page.
If you are not a Barts and The London medical student please email [email protected]. You are very welcome to our events and we enjoy having a variety of attendees, but we would like to know who is coming beforehand!
